local Central Alabama Mensa scholarships: the Stephanie Alexis Gach
scholarship and the David F. Mann scholarship. The cookbook was a labor of
love -- love for cooking, good food, and the individuals for whom our
scholarships are named. Each of these recipes is kitchen tested.
Recipes range from very simple to moderately difficult, but we promise they will
produce good tasting results! There are almost 400 recipes printed on 210
loose-leaf pages so they are easily readable.
Sample Recipe
Baked Potato Dip
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
2 or 3 green onions, sliced thinly
10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Mix all ingredients together. Served in a round loaf of bread that has been hollowed out.
Recipe Note: Served with potato chips, this tastes like a loaded baked potato.
